Epoxy coatings are a barrier for moisture. Moisture vents from under many slabs. Slabs are rigid sponges. The venting moisture causes the epoxies to de-laminate (peel) resulting in expensive repairs. Basically, it can be a huge waste of money in many cases. Repairs can mean complete removals.
We prefer to display the man-made stone/concrete's grain and character, and to enhance it with diamond grinding, staining & polishing technology. We work WITH the slab. We don't hide/coat the slab. Costco, Lowes, many grocery stores, and warehouses and homes are dumping traditional floor coverings for sustainable practical concrete floors. In our case the floors are less generic and very artistic. We enhance the slabs.
