Hailing from the Peruvian Amazon, her extraordinary art visualizes the ibos, the sacred guardian spirits of the rainforest’s plants and animals. By sharing her legacy today, we celebrate the deep, universal Indigenous knowledge that reminds us all to respect, listen to, and protect the earth beneath our feet.

Meet Giulia and Sam, the heart-crafting artists behind Dragon Chocolate who will be guiding our October Building Community Through Craft Workshop!

Their love for cacao goes far beyond chocolate itself. They’re curious about where it comes from, the cultures and stories surrounding it, and the connection that happens when we slow down and experience it together.

On October 17, they’ll be sharing that curiosity with us through Connective Chocolate! From their handcrafted Belizean drinking chocolate to a guided tasting of craft chocolate from around the world.

We’re so excited to learn from them, taste with them, and see chocolate differently by the end of the afternoon. Los esperamos 🫶🏽

During the evening, this group of friends got to create their own bracelet, adding a phrase and a symbol that represented something they all share. W**e, snacks, birthday treats, time spent together, and a pretty special memory to take home.
