When fall harvest meets Halloween - from carrying over our lush containers from summer (because they complemented the fall color scheme), to being nipped by frost (dead plants are fitting for Halloween, aren’t they?), to clearing out, adding new flare and creating a little pumpkin patch.

There’s still time to spread some fall fun - like these little pumpkins I dropped off at my son’s school for a little painting project for the classroom.

A surprise for the kiddos, created joy and artistic creativity. Pumpkin art by Becks is now proudly displayed in his bedroom! 🎃

We introduce you to our …… Lemon Cypress! This scented beauty likes full sun to part shade when planted outdoors. If you want to keep it indoors, make sure your plant gets five to six hours of indirect sunlight or morning sun.

These vibrant evergreens can be used as a hedge, solo planting or included in a container garden as an accent. How ever you choose to showcase, Lemon Cypress is sure to enhance the aesthetic appeal.

As a bonus, Lemon Cypress trees smell like lemons (without the fruit) and help keep flies and mosquitos away! We may be in the Fall season, but make sure to bookmark this for next year’s spring and summer plantings! Because who doesn’t love a pest free patio!

P.S. we found this wooden leaf (along with a Halloween cat and a few others) at Target just a few weeks ago. With project Christmas underway in stores, you never know what fall finds you might come across in the post-season section - heck they might even be on sale!

How cute is this little B O O pumpkin?

We love a cute craft, especially ones that involve creating memories (and a mess 😉) with our kiddos.

If you have a few extra pumpkins laying around, grab some paint, a few paint brushes, and maybe an art smock.

Spooky season is bringing out the crawlers! My boys loved making these DIY spiders - simple, fun and a great way to add a “creepy” feel to our Halloween décor.

All you need are black pipe cleaners and some googly eyes (optional).

One knot, a few bends to create the legs and your spider is ready to crawl….. right on to our skeleton apparently.
