Decisions early on in the planning stage of a new build or a large scale renovation make all the difference in our client’s forever homes, making sure homes reach their full potential. In this client’s ensuite renovation, electrical is where it needs to be for the floating makeup mirror, those stunning wall sconces, and the drawer hair dryer. This was a wonderful collaboration with John DeCurtis of - beautifully built custom cabinetry and millwork throughout the bathroom and new walk-in closet. John makes the most gorgeous walnut cabinets!

Transformation. This full scale home renovation took place while the clients wintered elsewhere. The warmer temperatures these last few days remind us of our clients joyous emotions and immense graciousness when they arrived back to their transformed home in the spring. We value our clients trust in us with their homes, and our designs are sustained by this trust, as our clients know that their vision will be seen through with clarity, craftsmanship and experience.

Consider your walls gallery-ed. While I don’t think we’re fooling anyone into thinking that the tv in this gallery wall is a piece of art, but for sure, this is so much better than a big black rectangle on a wall. Oh, we also hid the wires/box inside the wall and accessible behind one of the pieces of art, ta-da. Made the center piece a dreamy one from , added a fun photograph, a mix of metal frames, and more regional and local art.
Complete, intentional, and considered.

Italian Burl & Rivets. When designing for the renovation at the historic Waldorf project, we specified a combination of modern pieces that have a vintage and acquired feel with contemporary materials with an edge. A leather key tassel hangs from the top drawer of a beveled top feathered walnut burl Italian commode, placed in front of Runway Rivets burnished brass on canvas linen wallcovering.

Sometimes the best spaces can just be a wall. Before this first floor renovation, this foyer wall held closets where coats/bags/shoes went to die. We opened up the left side of the wall to widen the opening into the family room, and with the right side we created this stunning foyer moment. An introduction to the colors throughout the home before you step into the kitchen, with a mix of metal, wood, shearling, & stone. Fun and unique, a reflection of the clients and their lifestyle!
