If you’ve ever looked at a florist proposal and wondered what the heck half of it means, this is for you.

It’s peak season and I’ve been writing lots of floral proposals, begging the questions: What do these various line items mean and why are florist’s quotes so tricky to compare?

So I put together a sample proposal for the blog, and I’m walking through each section and term line by line. Plus: how to compare 3-5 florist proposals side by side, and a wedding planner’s perspective on what to look for.
