Custom problems require custom solutions. When a client needed sconces for a custom bookcase with strict limit on the backplate width, we knew it would be a challenge. After an extensive search, we (customer) found the perfect combination of style and size. We added the proper arms and socket covers to complete the look.
Shout out to Liz Liz Burt for getting those raw brass backplates polished to a brilliant high-shine finish. The client just sent over the final installed photos, and they look right at home. What do you think?

The latest challenge. Customer's vintage (possibly Dodge) 1940's hula girl lamp arrived with the base shattered. Fortunately, we had a good replacement in the shop. After a trip to the machine shop to have a hole cut to accommodate the motor, she is undulating. The "banana leaf" base is a perfect replacement.

"Let there be (better) light!💡
The project:
-Change out 79 (mostly CFL) bulbs for high efficiency LEDs.
-Dialed in the warmth with a crisp 3000-3500K range.
-Deep-cleaned every lantern(and boy, did they need it!).

Huge thanks to Savannah Steel Scaffolding for the assist. Also thanks to Sarah at for helping choosing the proper bulbs for the high ceiling. The result? A brighter, more welcoming space without those harsh shadows.

Next up: We might be heading to the wedding chapel.
