Rob joined the Marcella's team in 2001, bringing with him eight years of flooring installation experience and a passion for doing the job right. More than two decades later, he's become one of the most respected installers on our team, known for his precision, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Behind every successful project is a team member who keeps everything running smoothly.

Meet Jeanie Zeller, Operations Manager and Sales Associate at Marcella’s Flooring.

Jeanie joined Marcella’s Flooring in 2020 as a sales associate and design consultant, quickly earning a reputation for helping customers bring their vision to life. Whether it's selecting the perfect carpet, coordinating colors, or finding the right pattern for a space, Jeanie has a talent for making the decision process easier and more enjoyable.

Her dedication and expertise didn't go unnoticed.

Within just two years, Jim Marcella recognized Jeanie’s exceptional organizational skills, computer knowledge, and database management expertise, expanding her role to include Operations Manager. Today, she plays a vital role behind the scenes, helping keep projects, schedules, and daily operations running efficiently while continuing to assist customers on the showroom floor.

To better serve both residential and commercial clients, Jeanie has attended numerous technical and product training seminars, allowing her to stay current with the latest flooring trends, products, and installation solutions.

Outside of work, Jeanie enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and two grandchildren. When she gets the opportunity, she loves traveling and exploring new vacation destinations with the people she loves most.

Meet Mark, our Senior Flooring Consultant.

Mark joined Marcella’s Flooring in 2020, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience in the flooring industry. Since day one, he has become a trusted resource for homeowners, business owners, and contractors looking for the right flooring solutions for their projects.

As the lead salesperson at Marcella’s, Mark has attended dozens of industry training sessions and product seminars throughout his career, giving him the knowledge to guide customers through everything from hardwood and luxury vinyl to tile, stone, and commercial flooring systems.

Whether you're remodeling a single room or planning a large-scale project, Mark takes pride in helping customers find the perfect balance of style, performance, and value.

From a young immigrant learning the trade… to one of the region’s most trusted flooring experts.

Meet Adam - Lead Estimator/Commercial Installer

In 1995, Adam emigrated from Poland to America as a young boy and began working part-time with a flooring installation company learning the craft from the ground up.

During one particularly challenging flooring installation for Marcella’s Flooring, Jim Marcella noticed something special.

The project required advanced techniques, precision, and problem-solving and Adam stood out immediately.

Recognizing his skill, dedication, and work ethic, Jim offered Adam a full-time position at Marcella’s Flooring in 1998.

The rest is history.

Over the last 27 years, Adam has attended specialized installation seminars, mastered complex flooring systems, and established himself as one of the most experienced flooring professionals in the region.

Today, Adam continues to lead complex commercial estimates and project management — helping bring high-level craftsmanship to every job.

His latest project? Preparing to install a variety of flooring systems for the brand-new Hana Restaurant in Latham, NY.

Every great company has a story.

For Marcella’s Flooring Center, that story begins with James “Jim” Marcella.

In April of 1969, Jim opened Marcella’s Flooring Center after spending years learning the value of hard work in his family’s appliance business. From day one, he built the company around a simple idea: offer the finest flooring products, hire the best people, and treat customers the right way.

A proud Siena College business graduate, Jim built Marcella’s to stand the test of time. Growing through changing markets, economic ups and downs, and nearly six decades of serving families and businesses throughout the Capital Region.

But what Jim is most proud of isn’t just the longevity. It’s the relationships.

Customers who first walked through the doors decades ago still return today, often bringing their children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors with them. Many of Marcella’s trusted team members have been with the company for 30+ years, helping continue the same commitment to quality, honesty, and craftsmanship that Jim started in 1969.

Because to Jim, flooring was never just about selling products.

It was about making sure every customer was completely satisfied and standing behind the work long after the installation was done.
