When my eldest daughter established her own apartment in Brooklyn with some friends, I was tickled to see what artwork she chose for the walls. Some of mine and some of her grandfather's. She's been around art all her life and has had the opportunity to hone her tastes. What about you? Whether you're renting or living in a home of your own, what do you hang on the walls to make it yours? Maybe my art, "Hyacinth," would add a bright spot.

"Crimson Bloom" is rooted in the idea of a celestial explosion at the beginning of time. I love how the shapes radiate outward. I can imagine every element that exists in our world to have been created in this magnificent moment. Waiting to be realized, found, loved.

Wavy Drops

The mellow combination of mocha, charcoal, dark red and white is energized by vivid texture and wavy shapes. This is a sophisticated take on the lava lamp. Instead of electric purples and pinks, I've used a natural palette which encourages relaxation and meditation.

Wavy Drops looks especially good printed large, on a 40"x30" canvas, framed in dark wood.
