Today I turn 43.
And if there’s one thing these 43 years have taught me, it’s this… The most beautiful things are built slowly.
The best homes.
The strongest relationships.
The most meaningful businesses.
The fullest lives.
None of them happen overnight.
If you’re new here, welcome. I’m Britany, an interior designer, artist, wife, mom, and the founder of Britany Simon Design House. But more than anything, I’m someone who believes that how we live matters.
I believe luxury isn’t about having more. It’s about intention. It’s choosing materials that will age beautifully instead of chasing what’s popular. It’s collecting pieces that tell your story instead of filling a room for the sake of it. It’s eating dinner around the table together, laughing a little too loudly, hanging every scribble or painting your kids have made, it’s creating a home that becomes part of your family’s story and memories. That’s the kind of design I love.
Over the years I’ve learned that the things worth having… trust, creativity, confidence, a meaningful career, deep friendships, a beautiful home, are all built the same way. One thoughtful decision at a time.
