Here it is Tuesday and Memorial Day is in the rear view! It’s time to get geared up for for a very special birthday! America will be 250 on July 4th. We are blessed to live in the greatest nation on earth. So let’s get ready to celebrate! Let’s show America and the rest of the world how proud we are to be Americans! We have stuff to decorate with. Tea towels, lanterns , and baskets. We even have a Patriotic Santa. I’ll be giving you some pictures as we go through June. But, don’t wait! The big party will be here before you know it! The Decorating Centre!! We are more than just a flooring store. We’ll be your headquarters for the party of the year!!

Hello and good morning sweet friends! Sorry, I haven’t been on with a new post lately. Thought you might like a break from my chatter! I’ll be back next week with some more pictures and talk. What I want to tell you is that we will be closed Saturday through Monday for Memorial Day! The weather seems to be "iffy" but as long as we are with friends and family…does it really matter? I hope you have the best holiday and we look forward to Tuesday when you can come and shop again!

How’s it going on this first Monday of May? Beautiful day isn’t it? In May we turn our attention to Mom. She deserves a day dedicated to her! Heck, maybe a month! So let’s start out with the obvious! Ronaldo! Of course! Our bracelet of the month is Hearts Collide! "Loved you yesterday, love you still. Always have, always will". Stop in today and look at our Ronaldo jewelry as well as our other jewelry. We have a lot to choose from. Mother’s Day is Sunday! See us at the Decorating Centre. How stinking cute is this idea? Our friend Jena Harston sent this to us. She bought a SWIG mug then filled it with flowers for a wonderful teachers gift. National Teachers Appreciation Week is next week May 4-8 with May 5 being designated as National Teachers Appreciation Day. Another great idea might be putting a coupon inside for free coffee instead of flowers. There are lots of things that would work. Of course, giving a SWIG mug or tumbler is always a hit. Wait……Mother’s Day!!! This would be a great idea for Mom! Thanks Jena!
