Before & After of a small powder room transformation ✨

Small bathrooms deserve thoughtful design attention too. I enjoy incorporating bright accents and bold color choices into compact powder rooms to create personality and visual interest.

In this space, I installed a floating vanity to enhance the sense of openness and create the illusion of additional space. The rich green vanity pairs beautifully with the vibrant artwork, while the Marimekko area rug adds a playful layer of color and texture. The oversized framed mirror serves as both a functional element and a striking statement piece.

A powder room may be small in scale, but it still offers the opportunity to make a memorable design statement. ✨

Behind every finished space is thoughtful planning.

Here I’m sketching geometric concepts for the Pt. Arena High School music room redesign. Drawing inspiration from local Pomo heritage and meaningful color palettes, each acoustic panel design was carefully mapped out before installation.

Great design starts with listening — to the space, the community, and the story it wants to tell.
