Update: We are still looking. Recent promising leads have not worked out as we hoped, but we have a lot of good people looking. Thank you to everyone who has liked and/or shared this post.

We are searching for one of our son’s 3 gallon blue devil jugs that would be available for purchase. We have tried to locate one privately with no luck. In April, Matt underwent 9 hours of brain surgery at Duke Cancer Center and is currently receiving radiation treatment there. He would like to have the jug to donate to the Duke Cancer Center for their extraordinary care. If you have one you would be willing to part with or can put us in contact with someone you know who does, please contact us privately or through our website.

The North Carolina Pottery Center has partnered with the NC Digital Heritage Center to digitize materials related to our state’s pottery history. Thanks to the NC Digital Heritage Center (DigitalNC.org), photos, clippings, letters, and more are available online.
