We’re home to one of the largest concentrations of potters in the USA, a destination of cultural significance. The Town of Seagrove is “The Handmade Pottery Capital of the United States.” About 80 potters live and work here, many with studios open to the public along Pottery Highway, NC 705. Visitors come from China and Australia and each of the 50 states to visit our countryside and soak up the c
reative vibe.

"Making pots" has been a tradition in some families for nine generations. Others have relocated here because of the beauty and inspiration found in this artisan community.
