Good morning! Yesterday I spent the day at Gather & Go of Arkansas helping my daughter. We made quite an assortment of things for you all. This snow and ice has hurt everyone, I know and understand-but, if you are ready for someone else to cook for you-and if you can-we would love to see you!
I will still be taking orders myself for Chocolate covered strawberries and cookies etc. (not to confuse anyone)
But, this week I plan to be helping my daughter at the store as much as she needs me! Today we will be making some Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Italian cream cake jars, and she has some Valentine cake balls!
We also made a big batch of beef stroganoff late yesterday afternoon and she has that in the coolers for those of you who love that dish!
We hope to see you soon! I would love to visit with you all! Yesterday was so nice to see a few of my favorite customers.
We cater for AR Care about once a month and have for years, and deliver the meals to their training center in Augusta. When I ran the store, that is something I always did. I liked to take it myself and visit, and I'm pretty sure I've taken it each time since Becca took over, just because it was something I did-and she's busy in the kitchen at Gather and Go. (After my fall, when I was out for a couple months, Becca delivered for me❤️ we do whatever we have to do,as a family to make it all work)
Yesterday while I was out, delivering their meal, I stopped to take these photos. It is right on the river, and sometimes when I would deliver the meals, I would just stop afterwards and look at the river and enjoy the moment for a minute before heading back 🙂 yesterday, the snow on the ground made it extra beautiful and I wanted to share that with you❤️
Being there yesterday and getting a few hugs from some of my "old regulars" was so good for my heart. ❤️Thank you all for supporting my daughter and our family through the years. We are truly so thankful.
