"Gotta catch 'em all!”

A project like this is all about precision and patience.
This is our client’s collection of high-value Pokémon cards, each one individually encapsulated in Melinex for maximum protection while keeping every detail clearly visible. The process is meticulous, and yes, very time-consuming. But when it comes to preserving something this valuable, there’s no cutting corners.

We’ve included a few behind-the-scenes shots of the layout process. Our Bellevue MQF shop carefully arranged each card into a clean, balanced grid before final assembly. Every step matters when the goal is both protection and presentation.

For the design, we paired a gallery black frame stacked on a matte yellow frame, complemented by an Old Bronze Rustic mat. It’s all protected with Museum Acrylic for exceptional clarity and museum-level protection.
Protection, clarity, and craftsmanship, all working together to showcase what matters most.
"Pika Pika!"

The galaxy’s most wanted, now in the galaxy’s toughest frames.

For , we’re showcasing a legendary lineup, from the wisdom of Obi-Wan and Yoda to the grit of Chewbacca and Boba Fett. But legendary art deserves more than a standard frame.

We’ve paired these portraits with hand-welded, industrial steel frames from Atomic Frames. Whether it’s the refined authority of Grand Moff Tarkin or the rebellion spirit of Leia Boushh, the raw metal texture brings an "outer rim" authenticity you won't find anywhere else.

Swipe through to see the details on Lando, Luke, and the rest of the crew. Which one would you want guarding your home base?

Gallery-quality framing for a larger than life favorite.

A client brought in this bold “Gojira” (Godzilla) print picked up at Comic Con, created by illustrator Seth Groves (). Full of energy, color, and presence, the artwork called for a framing approach that felt just as intentional as the image itself.

Our Capitol Hill MQF shop designed a custom presentation using a Carbon Midnight frame to anchor the piece and evoke the scaly hide of the great beast. Paired with raspberry fizz & vivid turquoise suede mats, the layered color combination was chosen to echo the palette and vibrancy of the print while giving the artwork breathing room and visual balance. Finished with Museum Glass, the print is protected with exceptional clarity and care, preserving both color and detail for the long term with substantially less glare.

A Common Thread that binds us all: a love for our team and a respect for our planet.

Happy Earth Day, Seattle! Today, we are proud to showcase this stunning, custom-framed, signed Joey Daccord () "Common Thread" Green Night sweater.

This isn’t just a jersey; it's a statement. Part of the ’s themed night series, the Green Night jersey represents our collective commitment to sustainability and protecting the breathtaking environment of the Pacific Northwest, and the world.

For a piece this meaningful, standard framing wasn't enough. The team at our Bellevue MQF shop designed it to preserve the jersey's unique textures and vibrant designs. A color-matched thin metal liner accentuates the green theme, and the floating mount and premium, natural wood frame give this piece the museum-quality presentation it deserves.

A client brought in an original gouache painting filled with bright, expressive flowers, full of life and movement. Our goal was to support that energy while giving the piece a Parisian country feel that felt timeless rather than themed.

Our Bellevue MQF shop paired the artwork with a gold laurel–pattern frame, referencing classic European ornament without overpowering the painting. A deep blue mat grounds the composition, while a cream inner mat softens the transition and lets the colors shine. Finished with Museum Glass, the piece is protected while remaining clear and luminous, so the brushwork and color stay front and center.

Spring doesn’t always have to be loud. Sometimes it’s about balance, restraint, and letting good design quietly do its work.

This photograph is over 30 years old.

It was a gift from college friends. One moment, one season, one field of red tulips, preserved.

Recently, the client chose to refresh the framing at our Bellevue MQF shop, not to change the photograph, but to support it as it continues to age. A natural walnut frame brings warmth and steadiness, allowing the muted blues of the sky and the deep reds of the tulips to feel grounded and familiar.

Some images aren’t about what’s new. They’re about what’s stayed with us, and how we care for it over time.

This incredible artifact, from November 11, 1918, was discovered tucked away in our client's grandparent's attic. A reminder of a world‑changing moment and the relief that comes with peace.

Our Capitol Hill Museum Quality Framing carefully framed the newspaper using preservation techniques designed to protect it into the future, and a design to quietly support the message.

What happens when you give a group of artists a training bra and one simple prompt: “Make something creative”?

You get this stunning, hand-sewn masterpiece! One of our artist clients took that challenge and ran with it. Transforming a simple garment into a textured work of art using sequins, coins, and intricate beadwork.

To give this piece the "museum treatment" it deserves, our Capitol Hill MQF team designed a custom shadowbox using an antique gold frame to catch the light of those sequins. A vibrant cerulean mat to showcase the depth of blues in the sequins, and Museum Glass for perfect clarity.

We love being a part of the local artist community and collaborating with artists to help them amplify their vision!
