Looking to bolster your lighting inventory? R90 Lighting is having an auction! We're off-loading of a decade+ worth of stage lighting equipment in order to make room for new gear. Now is your opportunity to pick up some perfectly good equipment at a screaming deal. All of these offerings have been maintained over the years by our QC and service departments.

If you work in or around the live events industry, you're no stranger to how quickly rumors can spread. We'd like to get out in front of a nasty rumor that started circulating once we announced the creation of this auction:

Little late on the post but as we wrap up 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible year of creativity, growth, and unforgettable events.

This year, R90 Lighting had the privilege of designing and delivering lighting experiences for a wide range of events—from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions. We pushed creative boundaries, expanded our design capabilities, and continued refining the details that turn great events into truly immersive experiences.

Highlights from 2025 include:
• Expanding our event lighting design portfolio
• Executing complex, high-impact lighting installations
• Collaborating with amazing clients, planners, and production teams
• Investing in new equipment and design techniques
• Delivering consistent, reliable results under tight timelines

The Great Pumpkin Beer Festival returned to its roots at Elysian Brewing Capitol Hill Pub for its 21st year in 2025. Part carnival, part concert, and full community ritual, this year’s fest ran October 3 & 4 and featured 60+ pumpkin and seasonal beers from local and national breweries. The weekend included live music, food trucks, a costume contest, and of course the giant pumpkin keg tapping. For the uninitiated: a massive pumpkin is hollowed, scorched to sterilize, filled with beer, and resealed until it’s tapped mid-festival. Once drained, the empty gourd is triumphantly smashed to cheers.

R90 Lighting helped illuminate this legendary fall event, lighting it up from stem to stern. Huge thanks to our client Connors & Co. Events, Inc. for letting us carve into the Halloween spirit. “Go big or gourd home” was our mantra, and we kept it glowing until the last pour!

R90’s PM for the event was Rachid Schultz who oversaw everything from concept to ex*****on. Lead tech Dwight Upton and stage LD Kegan Manker made the magic happen, while resident mad-scientist Joe Cole ran custom gobo effects in the food court using our new Elation Paragon M fixtures.
