Clay feeling too hard? Don’t panic.

Sometimes clay stiffens up from age, storage, or temperature changes — but that doesn’t mean it’s ruined. Before you reach for water, try this instead:

Throw it on the ground. Repeatedly. Seriously.

Breaking the clay up with force helps loosen it back up so you can wedge it normally again. A little aggressive? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely.
