August is officially coming to a close, and what an incredibly successful month it’s been! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us and took home a piece of our work. 🧡

We absolutely cannot wait to see what September has in store, and we are kicking the month off in a massive way! The Rusty Cauldron is thrilled to announce that we will be setting up at the 2026 Kansas City Irish Fest this weekend at Crown Center. You can find us in the beautiful Art in the Park section of the festival. 🇮🇪

Our favorite thing to do here at The Rusty Cauldron is breathing new life into forgotten treasures. ✨

For this latest piece, I started with a beautiful vintage bubble glass frame and let the materials guide the narrative. Inside, you’ll find a delicate gathering of butterflies and moths resting among dried flowers. I’ve woven in some of my absolute favorite antiquing finds to complete the scene—an intriguing old photograph, a delicate pair of antique gloves, and scattered vintage buttons.

Every single element was chosen with care to create a tiny, whimsical world frozen in time. My hope is that this piece whispers a unique story to whoever looks at it, and that it brings its future owner as much joy as it brought me to create. 🌹🕰️
