Apple C***r, fall leaves and sweaters! These donuts are so good!
Apple C***r Donuts
Oil for brushing
1¼ cups (300 mL) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (50 mL) granulated sugar
2 tsp (10 mL) apple pie spice
½ tsp (2 mL) baking soda
¼ tsp (1 mL) salt
½ cup (125 mL) apple sauce
½ cup (125 mL) frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 egg
2 tbsp (30 mL) canola oil
Spiced Sugar
¼ cup (50 mL) granulated sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) apple pie spice
(Or 1/4 C. Apple c***r and about 1 C. Powered sugar for glaze)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Brush the Donut Pan with oil.
For the donuts, combine the flour, sugar, spice, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk until just combined.
Place the Large Round Tip on the large Decorating Bag. Fill the bag with dough and pipe around each well until it’s about ¾ full. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the donuts spring back when lightly pressed. Remove from the oven to a Stackable Cooling Rack. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before releasing.
Meanwhile, combine the sugar and spice in small resealable bag. Add several warm donuts to the bag and toss to coat. Repeat with the remaining donuts. I did a glaze instead of the sugar mixture. To 1/4 C. Cup Apple c***r, add enough powdered sugar to make a thin glaze. Dip the cooked donuts in the glaze and let drip on a cooling rack.

This is a perfect recipe to use those fresh cherry tomatoes.

Bake 9-13 minutes or until bottom of crust is golden brown,
Flip crust over. Arrange cheese and tomatoes over crusts. Bake 5 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown. Remove from the oven.

This is my favorite way to cook fresh corn. The kernel cutter makes it easy to get all the corn off of the cobs. This was 4 ears of corn, 3 garlic cloves, 2 T butter, a handful of basil ;snipped and salt and pepper. In a skillet, melt butter, add pressed garlic and stir for a few seconds. Add corn and season with salt and pepper, stir for about 2-3 minutes. Add fresh basil.

Vegetarian Dinner on the Grill
I cut up peppers, 🫑, onions, 🧅 zucchini and added avocado oil and chipotle seasoning. Grill those while cooking rice 🍚 add some black beans to the cooked rice. The veggies went on top of the rice with some cilantro and a sprinkle of Cotija cheese. Serve with fresh lime 🍋‍🟩 wedges. Best eaten on the patio ☀️
