I haven't been following the but I did finish the hem of my sweater and got to try it on before finishing off the sleeves.

Two unique things about my sweater:

1) I paired kid silk with my Yarns so this is a fuzzy sweater (can't tell in this picture).

2) The body and sleeves (aas pictured) were knitted on my knitting machine. The yolk, patterning, hem and cuff are hand worked. The reason is that with a 5YO and almost 4YO, along with working a full-time job, leaves me minimal time for knitting, and I was afraid I wouldn't get this completed before

Friends and I were recently talking about yarn dyeing. It made me realize it's been quite a while since I dyed some yarn; it gave me a hankering to dye. So last week, I grabbed a skein from my stash (Wool of the Andes by Bulky weight) and splashed some color on it. I really like the way it came out. I have plans to knit this little cutie into a beanie from an inspirational pattern from (if you don't follow her already, go give her a follow!)
