Jen's Old Quilts I love quilts! I am fascinated by the creativity, complexity, and craftsmanship of something well made. My goal is to bring the forgotten back to life.

I celebrate the forgotten makers of hand-stitched quilts who transformed simple fabrics into lasting works of art, preserving these heirlooms by collecting, restoring, buying, and selling antique and vintage quilts selected for their quality and artistry I appreciate the endless hours dedicated by the unknown quilter using their skills and creative minds to create works of art that were also useful in their homes. Something that can once again be appreciated and loved.

Fifty days, thousands of miles, and a lifetime of views. 🏔️

Our trip out west took us through Custer and Deadwood, Little Bighorn Battlefield, Glacier, Yellowstone, Craters of the Moon, Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, the La Sal Mountains, Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Bryce Canyon, and Zion — wrapping up in Las Vegas.

Every stop had its magic, but Glacier and Bryce Canyon stole our hearts. Standing at Hidden Lake with those peaks all around... some moments you just never forget.

Loved every moment of this adventure. ❤️

I have two quilts going to the New England Quilt Museum for their paper piecing exhibit, and I’m currently sewing sleeves onto them for hanging. It’s a time-consuming little job, but it’s also making me appreciate even more what the unknown makers of these quilts accomplished. The hours of piecing, stitching, quilting, and sheer patience that went into creating these treasures are truly amazing.
