I am fascinated by the creativity, complexity, and craftsmanship of something well made. I appreciate the endless hours dedicated by the unknown quilter using their skills and creative minds to create works of art that were also useful in their homes. Something that can once again be appreciated and loved.

SOLD:) Antique quilt, hand-stitched by an unknown maker, featuring exceptional, intricate quilting at approximately 11 stitches per inch. Made from 100% cotton, this piece showcases a beautiful array of 1930s–1940s prints in butter yellow, lavender, sky blue, florals, polka dots, geometrics, what appear to be feedsack fabrics, and more.

Measures a generous 87 x 78 inches. Presents beautifully. Condition is excellent, with no rips, holes, stains, or discoloration. There are a few scattered areas of fraying in a few prints and minor wear to the binding, consistent with age.

A wonderful example for study, collecting, draping, stacking, or display. Fragrance-free and stored in a temperature-controlled, low-light, pet- and smoke-free environment.

The quilting is exceptional throughout, complemented by a finely executed hand-stitched binding. The quilt remains in excellent condition, free of rips, tears, holes, or stains. Measures 63 x 71 in.

SOLD:) Antique quilt. Immaculate condition. Expertly hand-stitched, dating to the 1880s. Features stunning double pink, double blue, and overdyed green fabrics arranged in a repeating geometric design. Backed with a rich brown cotton consistent with the period.

Found in Missouri, and most likely originated in Pennsylvania.100% cotton. Measures approximately 86 x 88 inches.
Recently appraised.

Displays beautifully and has been exceptionally well preserved. No rips, tears, holes, or stains. Binding is fully intact. Only a tiny area of wear noted on the back.

Made from 100% cotton, the quilt measures approximately 79 x 86 inches. The hand appliqué work is especially fine and precise, highlighting the skill of the maker. Some fraying to the red fabrics is noted, consistent with age, but the quilt continues to display beautifully.

Crafted from 100% cotton, the quilt features a pleasing mix of early c1900s prints including indigos, clarets, cadet blues, and classic shirtings. The fan quilting adds lovely movement and texture across the surface.

Measures 66 x 64 inches. Scattered wear noted but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty and display of the piece. A wonderful example of early quilt craftsmanship.
