At Barking Waters Head Start, an existing gymnasium has been given an entirely new purpose — and a new generation gets to make it their own.

Zoning and building codes are where dreams go to die… if you aren’t prepared. 😅

That property may look perfect for your business, but what you see during a walkthrough is only part of the story.

In Oklahoma City, zoning can determine what uses are allowed on a property — while development standards can affect things like setbacks, parking, landscaping, screening, and more. Some properties may also have overlays or additional design-review requirements.

Finding out before you sign the lease or purchase the property can be the difference between moving forward with a clear plan and discovering an expensive problem after you’ve committed.

The address has to work for the business — not just look like it could.
