This is the back side of the top to show you it’s hand pieced. I always layer muslin just behind quilts such as this, why you ask? So that should the seam come out you will be able to mend it using the muslin layer as a base rather than batting. It’s a rule for hand pieced quilts.

Quilt two for Diane ❤️ This beautiful Drunkard’s Path was entirely hand-pieced, and the classic red and white design is a showstopper!

It measures 92″ × 108″ and is quilted with Violet on a String by Ann Bright. I provided the backing, batting, and binding fabric, attached the binding, and added a muslin layer for extra support behind the hand-pieced top.

Quilt two for Diane ❤️ This beautiful Drunkard’s Path was entirely hand-pieced, and the classic red and white design is a showstopper!
