A few years ago, I was dreaming about getting my first wedding published photos.

Today, I’m sitting on hundreds of professional images from weddings I’ve had the honor of designing, so for the next 30 days I’m sharing one wedding or installation each day in hopes that the right couple finds me. 🤍

Starting with one of my favorites.

This organic woodland ceremony was designed directly into the trees, with sustainable, foam free mechanics, creating the feeling that the flowers had simply grown there. Locally sourced dahlias and marigolds stole the show. This ceremony space transformed into a colorful, immersive backdrop for the couple’s vows.

What I love most about wedding flowers is their ability to change how a space feels. A patch of woods becomes a ceremony. A field becomes a gathering place. A room becomes a memory.

If you’re planning a wedding and love flowers that feel natural, abundant, and inspired by the season, I’d love to create something for you.

A white-and-green wedding, grown by spring.

When Carly and Pat told me they wanted an elegant palette of white, ivory, and green, I challenged myself to source as many local blooms as possible. While many all-white weddings rely heavily on imported flowers, this design was filled with some of Maryland’s most beautiful spring blooms.

Hellebores, spirea, ranunculus, tulips, and snowball viburnum (those fluffy “hydrangea-looking” blooms!) were the stars of the day, layered with fragrant greenery and feathered eucalyptus for movement and texture.

One of my favorite pieces was this foam-free ceremony arch, designed on my new Accent Decor, Inc. arch mechanics. After the ceremony, the aisle flowers were repurposed into reception centerpieces, giving these blooms a second life and allowing the floral design to carry through the entire celebration.

There’s something special about working with flowers at their seasonal peak. The movement, the texture, the freshness—you simply can’t replicate it.

One of my favorite little stops in Severna Park. ☕🌿🥐

Grab a coffee, pick up a pastry from Black Market Bakers, and take home a jar of locally grown flowers while you’re there.

I’ve stocked a small collection of garden-style jars at The Station, filled with seasonal blooms grown and gathered right here in Maryland.

It’s the kind of place where you can slow down for a minute, enjoy the sunshine, and support a few local businesses all at once.

If you stop by, let me know which flowers you find. 💐

Some of my biggest growth as a florist came from being willing to be the extra set of hands.

Working beside talented designers taught me so much—how they install, problem solve, lead, and create with intention.

If you’re newer to floristry, don’t underestimate what you can learn just by being in the room. Reach out. Stay curious. Show up. 🌿

Grateful for the women in this industry who share their creativity and knowledge.

A weekly floral refresh can quietly change how a space feels. Each week I remove older bud vases, bring in fresh seasonal blooms, and refresh tables so the space stays warm, intentional, and welcoming.

Now opening a few weekly floral spots for restaurants, hotels & hospitality spaces in Annapolis, Baltimore & DC.

Peak peony season + locally grown summer flowers = my favorite kind of arrangements to make 🌸

This client received flowers from me last year and reached back out again this season asking for something bright, colorful, and full of pinks, yellows, and oranges — which honestly felt like the perfect excuse to lean all the way into summer color.

A lot of these blooms were grown right in my garden, mixed with locally sourced flowers from Maryland growers.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people come back for flowers year after year 🤍

One of my favorite things about this structure is that I can build much of the installation ahead of time before ever arriving onsite.

The arch breaks down into multiple pieces for transport, while reusable water cups help keep flowers hydrated and installation-ready throughout setup day.

For weddings and large-scale floral installs, that preparation makes a huge difference — especially during tight install windows and summer heat.

I also love that this system allows for more sustainable, foam-free floral design while still creating movement, fullness, and a garden-inspired feel.
