Something new you will see at my November markets, quilt scrap trees! 🎄

These are honestly a labor of love and something I probably shouldn’t be getting distracted with right now. 🫣 But it’s combining quilts, crafting and a whole lotta whimsy so they have me hooked.

How many will I have? Idk, that depends on how quickly my husband can get through the scrap pile he needs to cut. 😂

Here is a sweet custom order I completed for someone whose spouse passed this year and she wanted the reminder the cardinal brings, “When a cardinal appears, angels are near.” 🤍

Worked all yesterday evening to complete this custom quilt coat order. The greens are so pretty and I adore the dramatic flair of the oversized collar.

Finished up this sweet little custom teacher banner today with a quilt apple and the name hand embroidered. Isn’t she precious?! 🍎👩🏼‍🏫📚

Gave me a wave of nostalgia making it and thinking of my elementary teachers with all their embroidered, denim, jumper dresses, shirts and vests. ☺️ Take me back to a movie day with the tv/vcr cart, popcorn and pick-your-seat privilege. ✨
