Most recent delivery for now-retired Fire Chief Fred LaMontagne. Chief LaMontagne leaves OOBFD after 3 years of leadership, guidance and friendship. Carving a plaque from mahogany, and laser engraving it. Multiple first/new techniques were used throughout this project. I could not have pulled this off without the assistance from retired Sanford Fire Captain Eric Neubert , who's expert craftsmanship really pulled off the exceptional pen and case. A collaborative project I look forward to replicating in the future, thank you Eric! Happy retirement Chief and best wishes on your future endeavors!

Its the unique, fun projects I enjoy the most. A short notice, solution for a local craftsman, who makes these AWSOME Wooden pens with custom hardware. This order just required simple initials, the challenge is the round surface to which was being engraved.

Most recent "big" project deliverd to an incredible customer. A plaque to recognize 25 years of service by now retired Deputy Chief Rob Slaving of the Old Orchard Beach Fire Department. DC Slaving 25 years of service started with the City of Portland, achieving the rank of Captian before moving Departments to concluded in Old Orchard Beach after 3 incredible years as Deputy Chief. I wish Rob and his family health, happiness and success in retirment as they begin this new chapter in life. Some big shoes to fill for OOBFD!!

Ah, Fall is in the air, what better time than to start pumping out the first batch of this fun, decorative Hand Made Rustic Jack-O-Lanterns. Using LED candle lights to bring them to life in the dark. Heat treated, and painted. A great addition to your fall decor!

Measurements are as follows:

6inch deep
11.5inch tall
5.5inch wide
Top mounted eyelet hook for hanging purposes.

The price reflected is per a single jack o lantern. Each jack o lantern comes with a single LED candle. We DO NOT recommend open flames inside of these pine jack o lanterns. Bulk order options are available. Any questions please ask.

Some Recent work I had the pleasure of completing.

Deputy Chief R. Slaving Retirement Plaque. Custom order built by DC Slaving's specifications. To include a quote and laser engraved images of both agencies on which he worked. In addition, the helmet shields show his progression iwithn the fire service, and last but not least the tail "butt" flap off of his turnout coat.

Custom Engraved Zippo Lighters. Another custom order, with specifications made by the owner, utilizing a blank anodized aluminum Zippo lighter, with a few trial/error, we were able to meet the expectations of the purchaser. In order to achieve this level of detail on a metallic surface, much like on tumblers that have been done in previous projects, the use of Enduramark or coating agents that allow for the etching of the metal was done.

Just more examples of what creations can be made through the technology within our shop.
