In the February 2026 The World of Interiors is a beautiful photograph featuring our reproduction of Reveillon Arabesque 810 with the Homewood border.

French, circa 1789. This pattern was commissioned by the Homewood Museum at Johns Hopkins University. While many double repeating arabesques - those with two veritical rows of the pattern per width of paper - use a modest number of colors this one incorporates 14 colors printed with 24 blocks.

Celebrating Réveillon. Join Steve Larson co-founder of Adelphi Paper Hangings at the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden this Sunday November 2, 2025 2pm-6pm in Suffield, Connecticut.

Steve will speak on Adelphi Paper Hangings production of our own Réveillon historically accurate block-printed reproductions. Other speakers include Research Center Director, Peggy Wishart and Deborah LaCamera, Partner and Senior Conservator at Studio TKM Associates.

Learn about the history of wallpapers, delight in samples from a renowned maker of custom papers, hear exciting updates from conservators, and examine the papers up close in museum interiors. They conclude by raising a glass to the conclusion of the project and to the future Phelps-Hatheway’s spectacular collection!

Dave is printing the second block on Wheatlands Volute in a custom colorway. The repeat is 22 inches so it uses two wood blocks for the first printed color. This pattern is American, dating back to the 1850s.
