Unboxing a fresh wholesale order never gets old—it honestly feels like opening up little presents.

For this month’s subscription orders, I wanted to curate some truly special, standout rose varieties. There’s something so satisfying about seeing how each petal unfurls and noticing those subtle differences in scale and structure.

Take these, for example—unboxing these gorgeous Country Blue roses right next to these massive Moon Dream roses. The Country Blues bring this incredible garden-style look, with lush, ruffled petals and a striking berry-lavender tone that creates so much compact depth. Meanwhile, the Moon Dreams offer a breathtaking, ethereal presence—featuring soft, enchanting pastel hues that catch the light with a dreamlike glow, standing tall on massive 60cm stems to command the entire arrangement.

As your local favorite florist across Sharpsburg, Newnan, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and Atlanta, bringing these extraordinary details to your homes is everything. Working with stems like these is honestly what reminds me why I love doing this. Driving through Atlanta traffic—whether I’m heading to my corporate job or making the run out to my favorite wholesalers—it feels rare to go anywhere without passing an accident. And honestly? My first reaction is usually just annoyance about how it’s messing up my timeline.

But then I catch myself and slow down. I look over at the flashing lights, and it hits me: what’s just a frustrating delay for me is literally someone else’s worst day.

It’s such a grounding reminder. We spend so much of our lives rushing, carrying heavy weights, and trying to navigate hidden battles, all while looking for a little bit of softness in a hard world. Whether I’m designing arrangements here at Petals and Wishes Atelier or just moving through our local community from Sharpsburg and Newnan down to Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and Atlanta, it’s a daily lesson to choose grace.

Looking through these frames, everything fades into shadows, candlelight, and antique lace. It’s a quiet declaration of absolute possession, a reminder that some connections are so fierce they feel like a secret kept between souls. Crafting these moody, storytelling editorials is my way of breathing life into the little girl who dreamed of fairy tales, but learned that the most breathtaking magic always carries a touch of mystery. 🕯️🖤🥀

People often ask about the recipe behind a bridal bouquet, but to me, it’s so much more than just a list of ingredients. Every stem is chosen with intention, woven together to tell your love story.

For this design, every element tells a story:

🥀 Crimson Peony – For rich, romantic depth and a striking focal point

🤍 White Rose and Calla Lily – Bringing classic, timeless romance

🤍 Phal Orchid – Adding graceful shape and modern elegance

🌿 Lily of the Valley – For delicate, cascading texture and charm

Standing here looking out through the glass as the sun dips below the horizon, the world outside bleeds into deep, shadowy gold—a moody, twilight romance unfolding in the quiet stillness.

Picture a midsummer night settling in, where the air grows heavy and rich with anticipation. Heavy, antique lace flutters faintly in the cooling breeze, catching the amber embers of dusk. Cascading white blooms and dark, sprawling greens drape over everything, looking like an enchanted forest reclaiming the night.

Down the center of candlelit wooden tables, rich, dark summer fruits—deep figs, blood-toned berries, and bruised peaches—sit heavy among the shadows, offering a lush, decadent feast for the senses. It’s dramatic, it’s intense, and it feels like a secret kept entirely from the rest of the world. 🌿🍷✨

Healing, Petal by Petal 🌸
People always ask how I became a florist, and I usually give the easy answer—that it started as a hobby for friends and family. But the real truth is much deeper.

For the first time in my life, I am doing something that would make the little girl version of me proud. Having to grow up too fast and carry adult problems from a young age leaves scars, but working with these blooms is my way of healing that inner child. Every petal is an act of reclaiming lost softness, with the hope that when my clients hold these flowers, they feel a genuine, comforting embrace. ✨🌿

Standing here looking out through the window, the world outside blurs into something entirely magical—a sun-drenched, whimsical escape built straight out of a romance novel.

Picture a midsummer celebration where the air is sweet with warmth and possibility. Delicate, antique lace flutters softly in the afternoon breeze, catching the golden light just right. Cascading white blooms and wild, untamed greens weave together to make it feel as though the earth itself decided to bless the day, draping every corner in effortless elegance.

And down the center of long, sunlit wooden tables? Bowls overflowing with fresh, vibrant summer fruits—ripe figs, sun-kissed peaches, and plump berries—adding a pop of rich color and a feast for the senses. It’s romantic, it’s dreamy, and it feels like a moment suspended entirely outside of time. 🌿🍋✨
