Thanks to a few bonehead moves from me, we didn’t have our most consistent cook yesterday. What we turned is was quite tasty, but not our normal standards. This was a public event, and we had plenty of positive comments from the crowd. Unfortunately, the judges didn’t agree. We didn’t place.

🎟️ 3:30PM - Tickets for competitors meat go on sale
🍖 4:45PM - Meat available after judging ("pay" with tickets)
🏆 ~6PM - Winners announced

Final results from Rib Cook Off Association Worlds are on. They are in line with our expectations.

Wings - 17/110
Baby Backs - 123/141
St Louis - 122/142

Wings went according to plan, so it feels good to know that they did well with judges. After the rib sauce incident, my head was out of the game. The lowest scoring category for both ribs was for flavor, which I agree with. Time to learn from the experience and move on.
