This upstairs foyer nook turned out great, but nothing about this project was simple.
From a distance, a lot of built-ins can look great, but we challenged ourselves on this project to take the details a step further—limiting face nailing during installation to create a finished product that looks just as good up close as it does from across the room.
We pre-built many of the fillers, moldings, and crown, and implemented the Lamello Zeta P2 to join and fasten parts together during installation. Like trying anything new, there was definitely a learning curve, but the process gave us some valuable knowledge that we can carry into future projects.
In the end, the extra effort paid off with a clean, seamless-looking built-in that we’re really proud of.
