As summer begins to give way to a new season, I find myself drawn to spaces that feel calm, layered, and inviting.

This modern coastal bunk room was designed to capture that quiet transition—keeping the lightness of summer while introducing the warmth and texture that naturally carries a home toward autumn. Soft neutrals, woven fabrics, and handcrafted details create a room that feels timeless rather than seasonal.

Every decorative pillow in this space was thoughtfully designed and sewn by our small team in North Carolina using carefully selected designer fabrics. We believe true luxury isn't about following trends—it's about quality craftsmanship, natural materials, and creating rooms that feel lived in and loved for years to come.

Whether you're refreshing a guest room, a lake house, a beach home, or a family bunk room, I hope this space offers inspiration for layering your home one thoughtful piece at a time.

Which detail would you add to your own home?

🤍 Save this post for your late summer decorating inspiration and follow Hackner Home for timeless interiors, handmade designer pillows, and seasonal styling ideas.
