I love baking for my farmstand, but tonight I’m a little disappointed.

My sourdough turned out DENSE… and I know exactly why. I got busy and skipped the stretch & fold step. 🤦‍♀️

It’s easy to get frustrated when something you’ve made a hundred times doesn’t turn out the way you wanted. But I’m reminding myself that even experienced bakers have flops. It’s part of the process, and every loaf teaches me something.

So I’m not letting one dense bake defeat me. Tomorrow is another day, another dough, and another chance to get it right.

Because sometimes baking for the farmstand looks like beautiful golden loaves… and sometimes it looks like “well, that one’s going to be for the family.” 😂
