Truth. I've turned into a flower snob.

I made the trek to Trader Joe's for one thing that I need for upcoming wedding flowers.

I used to think TJ's had really nice flowers. Sometimes I even thought of them as my competition because they buy such huge quantities that they get insanely low prices and can even take losses on their product.

Trader Joe's flowers aren't what they used to be.

I left without getting the flowers that I came to buy.

Apparently TJ's doesn't sell locally grown flowers anymore. They were all imports. And you could tell.

Locally grown flowers are fresher, with fewer broken stems, fewer crushed stems, fewer browning blooms.

They look better.

So, yes, I've become a flower snob.

Local is better.

Those are flighting words.

It may be a bit thundery out there, but flowers don't care. Your kitchen doesn't care, either. Your home could use flowers to lighten the mood! Come on by--note the shortened hours due to the heat. You can reach out at any time, though.

These are locally grown and as fresh as they come! Flower possibilities invite coneflowers, peonies, ranunculas, coreopsis, catmint, and more! They are beautiful!

Bouquets will be varied. Come choose your favorite!

This week/weekend is likely your last chance to get Sheridan-grown peonies until 2027.

The roadside cart will be open both Saturday and Sunday morning from 9-noon. You can request bouquets for another day or time just by messaging me here or at 31 seven-509-382 two.

There are security cameras now--I really dislike that I had to put up cameras. But last year I had theft back-to-back, and that has magically stopped. If needed, it's good to know it's there. Otherwise, no, I'm not watching you on camera. (I do not like seeing the cameras, either. I'm sorry someone had to ruin it for everyone.)

The end of peony season in Indiana is very near. Hurry and get yours before you have to wait another year!
