Just love that feeling when everything falls right into place! This was such a fun bathroom renovation we did last summer while the homeowners were out of town for a couple of weeks. During a busy season of juggling multiple projects, the stars aligned, the schedule landed perfectly on the estimated start date and we couldn’t have asked for better clients! Having the whole place to ourselves during the demo and most of the finishing phase is always a huge help.
We replaced the old one piece fiberglass tub unit with a beautiful Kohler soaking tub and Flexstone wall surround system from tub to ceiling. Installed new hexagon mosaic tile floor, new vanity with quartz top, all new plumbing fixtures, electrical, exhaust fan, paint and accessories. We also relocated the plumbing for the toilet so it would be a couple more inches away from the window wall. This was a special request detail that we were happy to take care of as the homeowner always felt like the toilet was just too close to the wall making it uncomfortable.
We love every project that we do but sometimes it all just feels like it was meant to be.

An absolute pleasure renovating this bathroom for some really amazing people! This one started with the hexagon floor tiles. The homeowner had a couple of boxes left over from a previous reno, and we were able to find what we were told were the “last four boxes in existence” to be able to have enough to tile the bathroom floor. We scooped those up right away! The homeowner chose a modern look going with a 4”x12” gray subway tile in the shower with black grout, matching gray vanity and cabinet above the toilet, and all matte black fixtures and hardware throughout. We added 2x4 blocking for accessories while replacing most of the drywall, updated the electrical and plumbing as needed, installed “GoBoard” waterproof tile backer board in the shower area, and replaced the old ceiling vent/light. We used a subtle off white paint that we absolutely love, installed all new 5” base board and added a few trim details to get a seamless look throughout. It’s all about the process and we can’t be happier with how this one turned out!

Major transformation in this small space.

This log home powder room had a tiny 18” sink, an unsightly exposed drainage pipe in the ceiling from the bathroom above, unfinished shower area that was being used as a closet, outdated flooring, very poor lighting and an entry door that swung out into the hallway making it difficult to get around.

We took this space down to the studs, framed out the ceiling so we could insulate, added new recessed lighting and sheet rock. We were able to relocate that unsightly exposed drainage pipe so it would be covered by the new sheet rock ceiling without building a bulky soffit around it. We then reframed the closet wall to the left to allow room for a new 36” vanity and moved all of the plumbing inside of the wall for the new sink location. Installed new LVT flooring, new six panel solid pine doors for the closet and entry, and reversed the entry door so it would swing into the bathroom instead of into the hallway. This door had been an obstacle for the homeowners since day one. We installed all new brushed gold hardware and faucets, and painted the space with a nice powder blue that really works well with the exterior log wall and gold fixtures. We also took some extra care to detail the edge of the sheet rock and spackle to conform to the contours of the log wall. It’s these extra subtle details that really take a renovation to the next level and we love these kinds of challenges.
While we were there, we also replaced all of the water lines throughout the home, installed a new kitchen sink, new bathtub upstairs, and a new whole house water filtration system.
The homeowners love the new upgrades and we are so thankful to be able to help them make their vision come together.

A recent kitchen upgrade for one of our dear friends and all around amazing human!

We replaced the old formica countertop with a new custom fit butcher block top, naturally stained with Rubio Monocoat walnut finishing wax and a hard paste finishing wax. Installed the tile backsplash, new stainless steel sink, faucet and disposal unit. We also added a nice row of upper cabinets above the sink to provide more storage.

These projects are about so much more than just an upgrade… Its about making people happy! Seeing their faces light up when they see the final product, or hearing them tell their friends about the amazing work that they had done is what really keeps us motivated. Being able to make our customer’s homes more comfortable, efficient and beautiful is our everyday goal no matter the scale of the project. We love how this project turned out, and hope this will be enjoyed by the homeowner for years to come.

We have been doing work at this remote multi cabin property in the Adirondacks on and off for a few years and were recently invited back to install these beautiful antique claw foot bathtubs and fixtures in a newly constructed four bedroom family cabin. We also installed the custom made Adirondack style vanity’s with walnut tops and the water heater with hot water circulation for instant hot water at the fixtures. This visit also gave us an opportunity to take a few photos of some of the other work that we have done here in previous years.
A few years ago we installed all of the rough in and finish plumbing for the main kitchen cabin, butler’s pantry, laundry room, master and other guest cabins as they were being built or renovated. All of these systems needed to be installed in a way to make them efficient for winterizing as this entire camp shuts down in late fall until the next spring. Most of the cabins on this property are over 100 years old, and the owners are doing an amazing job restoring all of the buildings to be as true to original as possible.
This property is only accessible by boat, which adds another level of complexity to all of these massive projects that they are doing here. There has to be a lot of careful planning to be sure that all of the materials are ready well in advance. One of the last pictures is of my truck being barged over to the property. Definitely don’t want to forget anything on this job!

It’s an amazing project that has been many years in the making and we are so fortunate to be a small part of this. The owners are some of the nicest people that have always welcomed us with open arms and we truly appreciate them for giving us this inspiring opportunity.

We recently completed this small bathroom renovation, which started with the customer's need for an accessible shower system. This was a tub-to-shower conversion, complete with an ADA-compliant fold-down shower seat, security bars, and a custom wall niche.
We began by removing the cast-iron tub, all old fixtures, and old plaster walls. We replaced all of the old cast-iron drain pipe down to the basement floor and rebuilt it with new PVC pipe, including properly plumbed venting. We replaced all of the old electrical wiring in this room to accommodate a new ceiling fan/vent with light, new light fixtures, a lighted mirror, and an updated GFCI receptacle. We replaced all of the old insulation in the ceiling and walls prior to installing all new mold-resistant sheet rock and painting. We also installed “Schluter”waterproofing membrane in the shower area prior to tile installation.
The customer had been holding onto the 12”x12” tiles in the shower just for this project, and we're thrilled with how it turned out! We reframed the middle wall to accommodate a large 38” wide custom shower niche with mosaic accent tile and a marble ledge, then trimmed it out with oil-rubbed bronze “Schluter” trim to match the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and trim throughout the bathroom. We installed new “wood-look” tile flooring, a new vanity, and a comfort-height Kohler toilet with a soft-closing seat. With so much going on in this bathroom, we have to take extra care to plan ahead so everything goes in neatly and efficiently.
We are so happy to be able to recreate this space for our customers and make it accessible, comfortable, and beautiful for them to experience for many years!

“Keep it Simple”

We recently installed a new Lancaster Water Treatment brand water softener system for one of our amazing customers. This installation required relocating the well water pressure tank to the left a bit, in order to be centered, allowing space for the new softener system to fit neatly to the right side and stay in line with the other appliances. This unit has both a resin bed for filtering out minerals that make your water hard as well as a carbon bed that will filter out chemicals that may be in the water as well as enhancing the taste and smell of the water throughout the home. While there, we found that the check valve for the pressure tank was not working and needed replacing.

Although this installation may look complicated, it is very streamlined and easy to use. We certainly strive to keep things simple.

✨ “40’s Vibe” ✨

We are excited to show you one of our recently renovated bathroom projects in a beautiful home built in the 1940’s! We started by removing a 1990’s renovation, removing the old cast iron standard sized tub and relocating the fixture wall. We replaced all the cast iron and copper plumbing, upgraded the electric, and utilized the extra space to add a linen closet. In an effort to take this bathroom back to a true looking 1940’s vibe, we installed a sink and toilet from Kohler’s Memoirs Collection (color is 150th spring green 😍), sleek glass subway tile, an extra long Kohler deep soaker tub, and a beautiful marble mosaic floor. We also made and installed custom 40’s style wood trim to match the rest of their home and repurposed and refinished one of their original closet doors for the linen closet.

The results of collaboration with our clients and the work put into this beautiful renovation, resulted in the timeless 1940’s vibe that they were looking for!

“The Perfect Fit”

We recently renovated a small basement bathroom by moving the sink to the left side of the room to accommodate a new Neo Angle shower. This project required some jackhammering to acsess the main sewer line below the basement floor. By working closely with the customer we were able to assist them in picking out their favorite finishes (tile, fixtures, cabinets, ect.) to make sure to utilize every square inch and make a perfect fit.

We appreciate our clients and always love seeing projects like this come to fruition!

“Kind of Blue”
We recently dropped off this beautiful slab table that needed a bit of a refresh. The old finish had turned yellow and was pealing off allowing the elements to damage the wood surface causing the cracks to expand and begin to hold moisture.
We took the table back to our shop to completely remove the old finish, resurface and flatten the entire slab. We added a deep cobalt blue pigment to fill all of the cracks and then applied a few top coats of UV resistant epoxy. We also recessed the table legs into the slab per customer request as to lower the table one inch without taking away from the thickness of the top.

We love how this turned out and it fits perfectly in their garden space. It warms our hearts to be able help this amazing couple with something that they will be able to enjoy for many years to come.

“Instant Upgrade” We recently relocated and added this laundry area with utility sink for one of our amazing customers!

The old washer and dryer was located on the opposite side of the basement with the dryer vent blowing lint onto the back patio, the washer drain hose not connected to the waste line properly causing a bad smell and no option for a sink.

We were able to cut the main sewer stack to add proper drain connections for the washing machine as well as allowing for the addition of a utility sink. Relocated the dryer vent to a discrete corner of the home, and added a few more electrical outlets in case the homeowner adds countertops to this area in the future!

We love being able to help make your home a better place!
