KEY INFORMATION
• Reports to: Plant Manager
• Hours: 40/week
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
• Sets up and operates variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate wooden cabinets: Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed and plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed.
• Matches materials for color, grain, or texture
• Perform field installations of casework (not all required for all accounts)
• Collaborate with Supervisor to meet production goals and identify ways to improve work flow and quality processes.
• Communicate with other department personnel in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
• Monitor the work area, materials, tools, and supplies. Request new supplies as required.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Clean and maintain work area, tools and materials.
• Maintain safety guidelines.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of one year successful experience.
• Previous work in a large cabinetry shop/manufacturing facility is beneficial.
• High school diploma required.
