Naomi entered into the interior design world by moving to LA after receiving her design degree from Florida State University. She went straight into an apprenticeship with designer luminaries such as Rose Tarlow, Kelly Wearstler, Adam Hunter, Michael Smith and fashion icon Max Azria in which she embarked on a high-level path to luxury design and notable trade relationships. She also spent time working in furniture manufacturing, developing technical shop drawings and design concepts for numerous LA projects. Fast forward through the embedded details of those experiences, she has since relocated to Short Hills, NJ where she manages her west coast clients as well as her other local and national clientele. Her studio imagines projects that are refined, livable, clean-lined, studied, and graceful. Now with 15 years of experience working in the design industry which encompasses the worlds of custom homes, renovations, styling and decorating, private aircraft and now her latest endeavor into her online retail shop. With her trained eye for interior architecture and the decorative arts, she masterfully illustrates the story that every project intends to tell

The bones were always there.

Walnut, ikat, a grand piano, and more candles than anyone could count before a single pumpkin appeared. A well-designed room doesn’t need a costume for Halloween. It already has what it takes.

The rest is just atmosphere.

Happy Halloween.

Working in workrooms is what I do!

To be honest, the best part of my job 😃

Growing up, my father was a self employed general contractor and my mother was in trained draftsperson. The idea of building and producing was always around me.

Having the opportunity to work with ENAURA was a real honor! My hopes and dreams, are for Enaura to welcome brides and family member to walk through their doors feeling a sense of comfort and style while being able to shop their beautiful accessories, hand, embroideries, and applications ✨

Not every project needs a full renovation to start.

Designer for a Day is one focused session. A room walked through in person. A direction handed to you by the end of it.

For anyone who's been meaning to start and just needs the push. Send us a message to book.

Not every drawing here is a mood board.

This one is a theater elevation, wood paneling, cabinet depth, base reveals, all specified to the eighth of an inch before a contractor ever touches it.

Design is also just very precise math.

Professional photography makes every room look like it never gets used.

This is the same kind of room on an ordinary afternoon. Sun through the curtains, nothing staged for the camera.

Both versions are true. This one just isn't for sale.

Some days look like this.

Room after room, one project, shot in a single afternoon.

This is the version of the day that doesn't make it into the final portfolio.

Getting a kitchen ready for listing photos?

Clear every counter first.

Then bring back exactly three things: something with height, something with texture, something alive.

That's the whole formula.
