I am proud of this blanket. It was made over the last four months with 10+ people that I work with as a retirement gift for a fellow technician who is truly inspiring both as a scientist and a fellow crafty person.

Teaching people to crochet and seeing them succeed, love it sometimes, and be as curious as I am about it has been the best experience. I would not have wanted to make this blanket without them. I love how it turned out. It's perfect!

First knitted wearable complete! I finished this knotted grey headband recently and it made me think of the first item I ever crocheted eight years ago, a pink headband! Love a headband! 🧶❤️

How many knitting projects can one start before finishing any of them? Asking for a friend. 🧶😊 Trying my hand a sock gauge swatch, a headband, and a scarf currently! The only things I've finished recently are crocheted, I'll share those later. ❤️

This weekend is the two-year anniversary of me starting my Etsy shop! Comment on, or share, this post with a favorite crafting memory, an idea for me, or a picture you love of a handmade item of mine. I'd love to hear from you!

I do not really know how to feel, honestly. I am grateful for the support from you all. I want to thank you and give you an idea of what my plans are for the future.

I have a few priorities for the next year. First, I want to make myself available to make custom items. Always feel free to message me or share the word if anyone has requests. I want to focus more on local sales and expand my reach from here. Lastly, I want to continue to make new things and utilize Etsy to the best of my ability.

I've had and overcome some challenges this year and passed some great milestones as well. I love all the new things I made and the ones I will continue to make over-and-over. Thank you for the interest, and for helping to make this an awesome experience.

Thank you for following along in this blanket journey. It's been truly so nice to have so many people excited to see the progress on this big project. I am so pleased. This was so much work and I am still getting used to seeing it all put together. I cannot wait to pass it along to the person who commissioned it, I hope it is well-loved.
