At the venue walk through with my client a few months back she asked if I could do something to hide the dead dragon tree that couldn’t be removed for her wedding … I said “well, yes. I can do that!” And, so I did for yesterday’s wedding at the most amazing house in Los Angeles. (Not lying!)

Just the dreamiest wedding yesterday 💛. I don’t get to do enough of these 😍… same aesthetic as the bride, same favorite color (yellow!), a venue I also almost got married at, and trust to just to create and design. THE BEST!!!

For any that knows me, specially planners and venue managers, I am not an owner that sits back and directs their designers. I am all up into all the floral design from production I the shop to installation…climbing ladders for overhead installs, carrying and hauling flowers back and forth, sweeping, etc

I am always directly hands on (ok, maybe I’m a little bit of a control freak) but I also LOVE it. So why wouldn’t I design, climb ladders? (Ok carrying flowers is t all that exciting) . It’s what do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

And PS I get such a kick out of guests pulling me aside to comment on the flowers (“Did you do this??!!”)- especially old guys who you would think wouldn’t notice!
