Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with and reflect on the path that led me from psychology to interior design.

One of the things we discussed was how design, for me, has never been just about aesthetics. It’s about interpretation.

Every client brings their own story, history, routines, memories, and way of living into a home. My role is to listen carefully enough to translate those things into architecture, materials, light, proportion, and feeling.

The homes we are most proud of aren’t simply beautiful—they feel deeply personal to the people who live there. They support everyday life, tell a story, and create a sense of connection.

We’re excited to officially welcome Rachel to the Savannah’s Home & Design team as our Content Creator.

Rachel brings such a creative energy and passion for storytelling through photography and video, and we’re excited to have her helping capture more of the behind-the-scenes moments, design process, project details, studio days, and completed spaces that make our work so meaningful.

Originally from Charleston and now based in Sarasota, Rachel has a natural eye for content creation and a love for creating visuals that feel elevated, authentic, and engaging.
