Decorating for fall does not mean orange everything and a scented candle that smells like a coffee order.
Look at what is actually doing the work in this room.
One saturated piece of furniture, in a real burnt orange, that lives here all twelve months. A cool color sitting against it so the warm reads as deliberate instead of seasonal. Then small things on the shelves that cost very little and get swapped in October.
That is the whole system. The permanent layer carries the color. The temporary layer carries the season.
Get that backwards and you end up buying a whole new look every autumn, then storing it in a bin for eleven months.
Buy the ottoman once. Change the four things on the shelf.
