🩵 This stunning RARE Antique 1880s Victorian “Home Sweet Home” Parlor Motto Print published by Dreyfuss & Sachs, New York. The “Deluxe” Black Paper Field is a highly sought after, scarce variant featuring an intense, saturated midnight black background designed to mimic high end painted glass. Brilliant metallic goldleaf lettering flanked by pristine, unfaded details of nesting birds, wheat stalks, and floral details. It is in its original Victorian walnut frame featuring a solid gold gesso inner liner and original glass. It’s in wonderful antique condition. Frame is structurally sound with original wood backing. Measures approx 22.5” x 10.5”.

If you have been waiting for the perfect alabaster bird bath to add to your collection, this is the one! While larger variants are common, finding this petite size with all 4 original doves and undamaged is hard to come by!
This piece features contrast charcoal gray veining that cuts through the white alabaster, giving it far more dramatic depth than standard plain white stone. 100% complete. No missing birds, no broken wings, and no modern glue repairs. Hand Carved in Italy in the mid 20th century. Perfect petite proportions Approx. 3.5”Diameter x 2” Height. Solid Genuine Italian hand carved Alabaster & Marble. Excellent vintage condition with some vintage wear as to be expected, crisp rim edges and beautiful, authentic stone variations.

Standing alone in that field, the only thing that felt safe was my wallet. It was a literal ghost town. An abandoned flea market is a literal NIGHTMARE!!!

Can you believe we traded this old general store look and feel for next day delivery?! 📦

Running errands back then was an actual neighborhood experience. You walked across creaky wooden floors, looked at hand painted signs and bought things out of glass cases. Amazon has the convenience, but this place has the soul. Are you team “Slow Living” or team “Prime Delivery”? I’m curious to see where everyone stands!

As someone who doesn’t have Prime and only ever ordered one thing from Amazon, I think you can guess where I stand 😉

I don’t know who hurt these vintage books📚 , but they are way too cool to throw away. 😭The pages are gone and the bindings are totally broken, but look at those graphic covers and fabric textures! They are just too good to sit in a landfill. If you found these out in the wild, how would you repurpose them? Let me know your ideas in the comments! 👇

Geeze, it’s been so long since I did a one photo post. I sure do miss the simpler days of IG. Don’t you?!

These vintage and antique goodies will be available this evening at 6:00pm est. in my Etsy shop (Link to shop is in my profile) 🧺 The small “salesman sample” size Adirondack Basket is a size I have NEVER come across! Same for the Marshmallow tin, it’s also a small, rarer size and brand. And those baskets are antique Native Indian Baskets woven to perfection. 🤎 It’s starting to feel like summer is ending over here and this collection kinda gives me those feels too!
