Apparently, I can’t turn off my interior designer brain… even on vacation. 😊

While visiting my daughter in Israel, I kept noticing examples of the Rule of Three everywhere I looked, from groups of windows and archways to architectural details and even the way spaces were divided.

So, what exactly is the Rule of Three?

It’s a simple design principle based on the idea that objects and elements grouped in odd numbers (especially three) tend to feel more natural, interesting, and visually pleasing to the eye.

And it works just as beautifully inside your home.

Think three pillows on a sofa, three objects styled together on a shelf, three pendant lights over an island, or a grouping of artwork on a wall.

Once you start looking for it, you’ll see threes everywhere.

Take a look around your home today. Where can you spot the Rule of Three?

There is something incredibly rewarding about helping someone create a home they truly love.

A remodel isn't just about choosing finishes or furniture. It's about designing a space that feels good to live in every single day. One that flows naturally, supports your lifestyle, reflects who you are, and stays within your budget.

I'm so grateful for this kind review:

"Rebecca's assistance was ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. She worked with both me and my contractor to design the remodeling of my condo with special attention to my desires. With her assistance I was able to create a home I can LOVE for decades to come... She was generous with her time and knowledge. Thanks to her my project was completed and the cost did not exceed my budget. I highly recommend her... no one could have provided me with better assistance." —CB

Helping clients navigate everything from layouts and materials to trusted vendors is one of my favorite parts of the process. My goal is always to create a home that doesn't just look beautiful on reveal day, but continues to support your life for years to come.

While visiting my daughter in Israel a few weeks back, I sat down at this restaurant and immediately felt myself relax.

It was 95 degrees, yet underneath the canopy, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the city, I felt comfortable, protected, and completely at ease.

Of course, my neurodesign brain immediately started wondering why. 😊

The canopy overhead, the cozy spaces created by the umbrellas, even the angles of the architecture all created a sense of shelter and safety while still leaving room to enjoy the expansive view.

We crave that same feeling in our homes. Thoughtful furniture placement, defined spaces, lighting, texture, and cozy corners can all help create an environment where we naturally feel more comfortable and at ease.

What makes a space feel safe and relaxing to you?

And if your home is missing that feeling, I’d love to help you create it. Let’s connect: https://gogodesigngroup.com/contact/

As I've been exploring Jerusalem, I've found myself looking at everything through the lens of neurodesign. The patterns in nature, the textures in the stone, the repetition in the architecture, the way old and new exist together. These small details create spaces that feel calming, grounded, and welcoming.

The beautiful thing is that you don't have to travel across the world to experience that feeling.

Take a look around your own home today. What patterns, textures, or natural elements help you feel more peaceful? And what small changes could help your space support you a little better?

If you're curious about creating a home that not only looks beautiful but actually helps you feel calmer, I've put together a free workbook to help you get started. Download it here and begin seeing your home with fresh eyes: https://divine-acorn-70671.myflodesk.com/soulful-space-audit

A home is a living, breathing organism.

It shifts as we shift, transforms as we transform, transitions alongside us through every season of life. The beauty of this notion transcends words.

The most meaningful homes are not the most perfect ones. They are the homes that hold our stories, support our nervous systems, and remind us who we are.

I shared a personal reflection on this idea in a recent blog post. I’d love to hear what “home” means to you. 🤍

Before making another purchase for your home, pause for just a moment.

Ask yourself, How does this room make me feel?

Our homes shape our mood, energy, focus, and wellbeing every single day, yet most of us have never been taught to notice how our spaces are affecting us.

The Soulful Space Audit is a free guided workbook that helps you look at your home with fresh eyes. You'll uncover what's working, what isn't, and discover simple opportunities to create a space that feels more peaceful, intentional, and aligned with your life.

For years, I’ve designed homes by listening for something deeper than style.

🍃 How do you want to feel here?

🍃 What brings you ease?

🍃 What feels grounding?

🍃 What feels like you?

Now there’s a name for that deeper layer: NeuroDesign.

Our updated website reflects this philosophy and the way we approach home as something far more powerful than aesthetics alone.

Because the spaces we live in shape us every single day.

If this resonates, I’d love for you to explore it.

My clients often ask me about my own home. I always tell them the same thing:

“It’s a work in progress, just like me.” 😉

Over the years, my home has reflected every chapter of my life, motherhood, heartbreak, resilience, healing, joy, reinvention, and growth. Through art, collected objects, photographs, and meaningful furnishings, it quietly tells my story.

I believe our homes should evolve alongside us.

Not designed for perfection, but designed to support the human experience.

That’s the kind of home I want to help create for others too.

✨ Swipe to see the transformation.

What was once a dark and gloomy, compartmentalized first floor is now a light-filled sanctuary designed for connection, comfort, and everyday living.

For our Riverwoods Oasis project, we reimagined the heart of this home by opening the kitchen to the family room, removing walls around the two-sided fireplace, refreshing every gathering space, and layering in warm, organic modern finishes that reflect our clients' lifestyle and spirit.

The most meaningful transformations aren't just about how a home looks. They're about how it feels.

This home now feels calm, welcoming, and deeply personal, a true oasis for its next chapter.

If you're ready to reimagine your home into a space that nourishes your mind, body, and soul, we'd love to talk.
