Not disappointed in last night's rinse outs... except, the last 2. The kids shirt was an unexpected 50/50 polyester blend and looks faded and the spiral ended up with hole in the center from the clamp I use to spin it. Lessons learned.

Mandala flower with a spine... I love how the border color split. That was just one color called Stormy Sky, it is supposed to be a very dark purple... very cool effect when the dye powder separates into the tomes that are used to make it.

Today I went thru the tickets and found the closest Guess winner. Arthur L. from N. Prov won with a guess of 56 colors.
There are actually 138 drops of different colors on this actual design and Arthut will get one of his very own! Congratulations!!

Damon is going to need his own brand name pretty soon! These were his last 2 creation for the show. He wanted to try origami folds on mini taps. I have never seen the 2nd fold done before, it was his practice for skateboard tie dye because I told him I was thinking about doing work for a fund raiser my friends up north are part of. It looks like roses and this mini tap will make a real pretty small table covering. And his flower mandala is gorgeous! His color placement choices on both of these pieces is so great! I'm a super fan, are you?!
