2026 marks ten years for Marie Greene's 4 Day Knitalong, an exuberant annual knitting event that has brought thousands of knitters -- from around the world -- together in for the month of July.

Despite the name, the knitalong has never really been about knitting a whole sweater in 4 days (although if you’re knitting the smaller sizes, you absolutely can).

What it’s really about is discovering for yourself that knitting a sweater doesn’t have to take a year.

We'll be knitting the Watermark sweater throughout the month of July. An average speed knitter working on this for about 12 hours a week will have some fun, perhaps learn something new, and sport their new sweater by the end of the month.

Summer Hours | Memorial Day Weekend seems to have snuck up on us very quickly this year! As always, we will be open for regular hours into the weekend, then next week we switch to summer hours. We’ve been busy bees at the shop, and I hope to get you caught up with all the new things over the next week. In the meantime, come and see us! The table at the front of the shop is always available for you to stop in and work on a project, and we have fun kits and beautiful new yarn for the summer.
