A Piece of My Heart by Sunny A Piece of My Heart is the name of my craft business.

I hand craft kitchen items, including potholders, hanging kitchen towels, microwave veggie bags, microwave bowl cozies, cup cozies, reversible aprons, RFID coin purses, and fabric coaster sets.

Beginning today (Saturday), I will be back to sewing. I had originally planned on taking only between Christmas and New Year's off. However, my hands took a real beating from August thru 12/21 and I had to let the swelling and discomfort dissipate.
I am close to having an online store ready to go so stay tuned!

Big changes coming for 2026!

After 15+ years, my time at Artisans PNW in Everett, WA, formerly Artisans Mercantile of Snohomish, WA, is coming to an end on December 31, 2025. It has been a wonderful and rewarding journey, filled with laughter, love, and learning. With the change in location came a significant change in clientele and a new "flavor" to the shop, where my particular items simply no longer sell well. However, if you are in the Everett area, Artisans will be your destination for a remarkable café and book store experience!

When one door closes, another almost always opens. Finally, after several decades of not embracing technology, I will be venturing into online sales. I don't quite know what that will look like but, with the assistance of my two tech savvy granddaughters, I anticipate opening an online store in the early part of 2026. Stay tuned for further details.

My craft shows for 2025 are complete! It has been an exciting year of growth and I am looking forward to what 2026 will bring to A Piece of My Heart.

My show in Monroe, WA today was cancelled due to the possibility of flooding. Only problem was I was not notified so I drove more than 30 miles one way for nothing. The river was disturbingly high but had definitely receded. It was a pretty day so I just enjoyed the drive and made several necessary stops on the way back home.

Final show of the season is next weekend in Edmonds, WA.
