The reality of being a maker and owning a small business is that the income isn’t steady. Some weeks are good, and other weeks there may be little coming in—or nothing at all. Behind every handmade product is a person putting their time, heart, and money into something they love.
A friend of mine, a fellow candle maker in Minnesota, is going through a tough stretch with her business, and I want to show her some support. Yes, we make similar products, but that doesn’t stop me from cheering her on! When you see a friend struggling, you show up however you can.
