I have to say, this is probably my favorite quilt ever. Many decades ago I wanted to learn to embroider, so my mom Sue Maynard taught me. I never got the hang of the French knots (I always pulled them too tight) or the lazy daisy (see above lol), but I managed to make some pillowcases and potholders and such. I guess that's why I like this one so much. I appreciate all the hours that went into each tiny stitch, and there are hundreds and hundreds of tiny stitches. It took my friend Shirley a year to make the blocks, and she sat on it for another year before she handed it over to me. She's not on Facebook, but I'll text her some pictures.

I have to take a break for a couple weeks, but I'll be back soon. Thanks for following along with me. I pray God blesses each of you.❤️

Last 2 pictures of Tonya Arington 's quilt! I love the back as much as the front lol.

I'm trying to keep track of the time I spend quilting each one. I'm going to guess this one was about 9-10 hours. It's all ruler work, and some marking had to be done.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

I've been busy, as some of you know, but I have managed to do some quilting. This is a beautiful quilt a friend from work let me quilt for her. Quilted by her mother in laws mother (I think I remembered that right!)

Well, I like my chicken fried, but my friend Sheila likes hers on quilts! Fun quilt, so I decided on a fun dancing ribbons design that I free motioned. I was reminded by a friend that I don't have to use my computer every time. I had almost forgotten how much i enjoyed it! (Thanks Tonya Arington )
