What happens when an American woman in Paris takes over the oldest flower shop in the city? 🌸🇫🇷

You get the wonderful world of Adrienne Ryser and L’Arrosoir.

I’m so excited to welcome Adrienne to Chateau Sonoma on October 10th from 2 to 4 PM for a beautiful afternoon celebrating flowers, French life and her new book…Fleurs.

Adrienne will begin with a floral demonstration, then guests will create their own bouquet in one of our charming bud vases, followed by a book signing, light bites and plenty of time to linger and talk flowers.

I have loved following the beautiful world she has created in Paris Adrienne Ryser Acoca and I cannot wait to share her with all of you.

And before October, she’ll be joining me for one of our Friday IG live Cocktail Hours in September where we’ll get to hear more about her story, Paris, flowers and life at L’Arrosoir.

October 10th, 2 to 4 PM at Château Sonoma.

Tickets are available through the link in our bio. 🌸🥂

We’ve always believed you can bring a little bit of France with you, wherever you are. 🇫🇷🥂

Sometimes it’s a beautiful table. Sometimes it’s a long lunch with friends and sometimes it’s simply opening a bottle of Ch*****ne because an ordinary day feels worth celebrating.

That’s why we created the Chateau Sonoma French Bubble Club.

Three bottles, four times a year hand selected by Matthew Gaughn from boutique Ch*****ne houses he knows and loves.

Once a year our members gather with us at the farm for a fête of Ch*****ne, food, music and friends.

Because you don’t have to be in France to live a little more French.

The French Bubble Club is open to new members. 🥂

Join now and come for our Ch*****ne Club Fête at the Farm. This year it is a white party and an afternoon of celebration with your fellow Bubble Club members.

Saturday, September 19th | 3:00–5:00 PM

Join us for an afternoon of ch*****ne, live music, seasonal bites and celebration as we gather to enjoy our latest Ch*****ne Club selections.

Spots are limited, link in bio to join 🍾🥂

One of my favorite quirks about living in a 150-year-old house: this original built-in kitchen ironing board!

It even has a little separate sleeve board attached, they really thought of everything back then. Honestly, every house needs one of these!

Coat of Many Colors” is one of my all-time favorite Dolly songs.

She came from such humble beginnings and became a shining light for us all. An extraordinary example of a life well lived. She stayed true to herself, gave generously, and never forgot where she came from.

Thank you for the music, the joy, the laughter, and the light, Dolly. This one is for you. 🤍

A little Serge Gainsbourg to roll us into the weekend. 🇫🇷

I fell in love with La Javanaise after watching Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life and decided I had to learn it in French of course.

If you haven’t seen the film, add it to your list. And if you’re in Paris, is a must-see.

For more of our favorite Paris spots, take a peek at our Paris Guide here on our profile. 🤍

Mexico City favorites 🇲🇽

A few places from our trip that I’d happily go back to again and again…

🛎️ La Valise — loved staying here in Roma Norte. Stylish, intimate and such a special place to come home to at the end of the day.

🌸 Breakfast Roma — beautifully appointed, gorgeous flowers and décor, and one of the best margaritas I had in Mexico City.

🌺 Coyoacán + the Frida Kahlo Museum — colorful, charming and absolutely worth the visit.

🌿 Chapultepec Park & Castle — beautiful, fascinating and filled with history.

🌮 El Califa de León — tiny, no-frills and one of the highlights of the trip. Such a fun contrast to some of the more elaborate dining experiences.

🐟 Contramar — lively, stylish and such a quintessential Mexico City lunch. Wonderful seafood and great energy. Order the ahi tostadas!

✨ Rosetta — set in a beautiful old private home, with a fantastic bar and such a special atmosphere. One of my favorite dinners of the trip.

🍽️ Máximo — fabulous food, a great scene… and we even spotted Harry Styles.

🤎 Pujol — such a fascinating experience, especially learning the story behind their legendary Mole Madre.

Mexico City surprised me in the best possible way — incredible food, history, design and inspiration everywhere we looked.

Save this one for your next trip 🇲🇽

And tell me — what did I miss?
