I’ve been a little MIA here — and for a good reason.

The past several weeks have been spent behind the scenes, moving my cottage vision forward in a very real way.

This space represents what Terri’s Be Kind Cottage & Consignment is all about: thoughtful vintage, cozy moments, and pieces that belong together because they tell a story.

Nothing here is random. Each vignette is intentional. Each piece was chosen to feel warm, familiar, and lived-in — like stepping into a grandma’s house where time slows down and memories live.

I’m excited to start sharing more again. This is just the beginning, not rushed, not trendy, just warm, welcoming, and full of heart.

Christmas has arrived at the Cottage… and she brought the sparkle with her. ✨🎄

Gold shimmer on the tables, poinsettias showing off, pressed glass catching every bit of light — the whole space feels warm and cozy in that “I could stay here all night” kind of way. And honestly? Moments like this always make me think of my mom. She loved the glow and the little details, and I feel her in every bit of this holiday magic.

and ready for its second life.

the kind of dishes that were actually used and loved, not hidden away in a cabinet.

There is nothing like cracking open a new consignment bin at the Cottage. I took the lid off and immediately said, “Oh we’re doing this today? Okay then!” Bubble wrap flying, pink glass winking at me from underneath like she knows she’s pretty, doilies acting all innocent on top — it was a whole moment.

This bin came PACKED. Depression glass, a cottage-white pitcher, lace, linens, and a few pieces that made me audibly gasp like I was in a telenovela. Each one’s about to get cleaned up, fluffed up, and photographed like they’re starring in their own little vintage rom-com.

And if you’re already eyeballing something in these sneak peeks?
Yeah… keep checking into the Cottage. These beauties are about to step into the spotlight real soon. ✨

Bringing new treasures in is fun — sending them off to a good home where they’ll get adored all over again? That’s the part that gets me every time.

A Little More About Terri’s Be Kind Cottage & Consignment 🌻🤩🦋

Now that the Cottage is officially open and the first few pieces are listed, I wanted to properly introduce what this space actually is to me.

Terri’s Be Kind Cottage & Consignment is my little corner of the world dedicated to vintage décor, tea sets, cottage-core treasures, and meaningful pieces with a story.
Built in honor of my Mommy, Terri — every item here is chosen with love and intention.

And just to be clear — I’m not here to shove sales at anyone.
I’m here to build something with heart, and to keep my Momma’s memory alive while I do it.

Nothing gets listed just because it’s “cute.”
Every piece that’s brought to me goes through what I call a Cottage Fit Check:

✨ Is it warm?
✨ Does it feel like home?
✨ Does it have soul or charm?
✨ Would Mom have loved this?

If the answer is yes, it gets hand washed, polished, dried, tightened up, photographed with care, and only then welcomed into the Cottage.

This is a heart project.
A warm, cozy place built one meaningful piece at a time.
And honestly? We’re just getting started.

Not every shade of kindness wears pearls. 🍂

Some days it looks like lace and teacups… and some days it’s a few old buttons, a crooked smile, and a heart that refuses to give up.

This is The Button Lady’s Corner — a little messy, a little mischievous, and a whole lot of home. She reminds me that kindness doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful — it just has to be real.

Around here, I’m working hard to make sure every treasure gets its chance to be loved again — because that’s what this Cottage is all about. Finding beauty in the ordinary, laughter in the small things, and warmth in the stories that keep us going. 🧡
