Forest Furniture - South Lake Tahoe New Life for Your Old Ride! Making rustic furniture since 2005, Forest Furniture is a small "locals" business located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe.

Owner Marianne Rosenfeld, artist, backpacker, snowboarder and a true nature lover is a long time resident of the Sierra and Tahoe. Marianne moved to Tahoe after attending art school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to enjoy the diversity of outdoor recreation and small town ambiance South Lake Tahoe offers. Forest Furniture specializes in creating several styles of beautiful chairs and benches, utilizi

ng Tahoe's abundant supply of used skis and snowboards. Every ride with a multitude of personal stories to tell of amazing people and days spent on the mountains and slopes of Lake Tahoe years ago. Forest Furniture uses equipment from all periods but predominately skis from the 60's, 70's and 80's. These skis and snowboards have been reincarnated into charming indoor and outdoor cabin furniture. Marianne and Forest Furniture are looking ahead, now working on designs to incorporate the early versions of Parabolic or Shaped Skis that are now finding themselves collecting dust in garages everywhere. If some of your favorite pairs of skis or snowboards are collecting dust in your garage, but you can't bring yourself to get rid of them for all the memories they hold and you would like to have them built into one of Forest Furniture's designs to permanently preserve those memories, contact Marianne at:
